Yeah I'm going to end up getting these:

Hey guys,
I currently have an NAS enclosure which has a 3TB SATA drive in it. I also have an HTPC - a revo RL70.
I'm trying to get rid of the NAS and connect the drive directly to the HTPC. some considerations:
1) Don't want to use USB, as the htpc only has USB2.0 and I'm trying to up...
I've taken up day trading in May to see how it goes for me after checking out funkyfunds (link posted earlier). Market's amazing right now so it may not be a fair comparison, but i've made more in may so far than i did all of last year. Which isn't bad.
Main money makers:
- MU
- AFFY
- CSIQ

Says he made a 6 figure loss in 2011. Although in 2012 claims he is still positive on RMBS and who has net worth in low 7 digits. So he may have bounced back, or is full of s***, up to you to decide :)
Not sure if you guys are aware but for those of you who prefer more live chatter around this check out #funkyfunds on freenode. Lots of day trading, options trading, general talk etc.
Question for you guys. I'm with sogotrade and have just bumped my account from a cash account to a margin account. Looks like they've given me quite a bit of equity to add to my day trading buying power - guess that'd be the margin.
I'm trying to understand how fees for this works.
let's...
was thinking the same thign - except putting some in now - expecting a jump in the morning. Not sure what to put it into though... FB is probably a good long term bet.
second that. Oddly there was a huge leap yesterday even after the UK declared the security issue. I've been holding and been twitching to sell but am indecisive so am holding by default.
i'm trying this out - seeing if i can get in at 455. possibly make about 5% during the course of the day (expecting close at -5% rather than current -11%!)
edit: just filled at 455, seconds after my post.
how high do you think it'll go? At a 9% gain since I got it just a week back I was about to cash out in the $14.75/$15 mark, even though I wasn't expecting it to hit those levels until at least summer.

that may have been me :) KFN was one of my favs - I divested not long ago thinking they wouldn't go up much more - made most of my gains through KFN...
I lost so much on C that I figured I may as well keep the little stock I have in place in case it ever recovered. Very happy I did that!
Got into F yesterday at 13.17 - I'm quite a happy chap.
Another big gainer in the past few months has been MU - not sure whether it's a good time to jump...
I'll start it off :)
What a nice spike on the first market day of 2013! Let's hope this is the trend...

never thought i'd say this when it came to fb- but i agree. sunk some money into them a little while ago, only wish i'd have gotten in a week or two before and i'd be up close to 30%. not doing horribly right now though, and expect it to continue to rise - will probably bail in the mid 30s.
Just closed off some positions in ARR only to realize ex-div is in 6 days :( Doh.
Sitting on about 30% cash now - think i'll sit on this for a while unless something really jumps out.
So who are the movers and shakers this week?
I got into ARR last week just for dividends and got the nice added bonus of being up 2+% points in the same period too! ex div date isn't until 12 sept so will just hold until thereabouts.
Gents, random question. What's to stop an investor to hop between companies' ex-dividend dates and make multiple dividend incomes?
e.g.:
ARR ex-dividend date = 12 september
AOD ex-dividend date = 19 september
Buy ARR before 12th September, sell on 13th September. THen buy AOD and sell on...
3.83% yield? Not such a great return for a dividend focus. There are plenty of 7-10% stocks discussed in these boards, many that have been and are stable.
KFN's dividend yield has just increased!! from $0.18/share to $0.21/share - 9.09% annual.
This stock has been an absolute goldmine for me right from the start.
just jumped off the ocz ship. I had promised myself not to sell before the end of the year (I think it's going places) but I don't want to get greedy. out at 5.75 AH.
now to figure out what's next. thinking maybe put more into pfn / kfn for the dividends until I find some fun shorter plays.
