    I've read people saying their Taiwanese FujiFilm discs have been all Ritek. Well, I got a spindle (100 pack) of FujiFilm that's PRODISC. So they're not just going with Taiwan, but they're digging to the bottom of the barrel. :P

    I've never had good results with Riteks, and I also use Plextor drives. In fact, CMC have by far been more reliable in reading data that has already been recorded. Whenever someone gives me a Ritek CDR, I need to reduce the read speed to no greater than 8x.

    It varies from store to store. My local OM, for example, doesn't consider the local Staples good enough to be a competitor (I can't say I blame them), so won't pricematch or take their coupons. Yet another OM about 10 miles further will do and accept anything you throw at them. YMMV.
