Most Reliable Car under $16k ? Im thinking about Mazda Protege5 2003 model...

Subaru 2.5TS!!! It's Subaru's basic AWD wagon. I'd bet you could find a new one for $15k or so. For 16k or so you can get an Outback Sport, which is AWD and has a much better interior and a firmer suspension. You can get new Civic SI's for 15k in PDX now, and you can get new Jeep Wranglers...

Total party school... there is nothing to do there but drink. There are next to no trees in the vicinity. The campus is very pretty though with lots of brick buildings. They have riots there "all the time." A couple years ago they rioted because the administration wanted to make the campus...

The IETF just standardized a messaging protocol... I think it's XMPP (extensible messaging and presence protocol). Try http://www1.ietf.org/mail-archive/ietf-announce/Current/msg20416.html for more info. As for the servers, it might make more sense to do a P2P style of server... ie, "connect"...

I use Poseidon for UML. Pretty much the same as ArgoUML, but more commercialized/productized, so things like copy/paste work, and the interface is a little quicker.

There are 3 ways to control your car: brake, steer, and accelerate. If you coast you are willingly taking away 1/3 of your control of the car. You could just as easily make the case on straight roads that you don't need to hold on to the steering wheel, or maybe just do minor corrections...
