8500 to a 9700Pro - will i feel a drastic difference?

Isn't CS capped at 99fps? I'm pretty sure an 8500 with a 1800xp could do 1280x1024 with AF & AA and still cap out.

Car engine oil has water...Question.......

I had that happen once on a Gremlin. The oil pan gasket had rotted or just came apart and there was about a half inch gap in it. Yes, it leaked oil bad too. Put a new gasket on and everything was ok, for a Gremlin anyway.

Why does Ati always remove the pipelines to make lower cards, instead of underclocking?

Why won't honda make a manual v6 accord sedan

And most autos have an extra gear called overdrive too. So what you have in most trannys is a manual with 4 gears and an overdrive gear=5 or an auto with 3 gears and an overdrive gear=4,some still come with only three. edit/ oops, hit reply too soon. Having an extra gear is one of the reasons...

Finally i know what it is about gov't law enforcement that bothers me...

I believe that's been to the Supreme Court. They ruled that the police are under no obligation to protect an individual. Police are an after the fact organization and your own protection is up to you.

GF4 TI 4200 or Radeon 8500 (non le) ...both 128 MB....Comparison !!!

I'd say sell the 4200. Most likely any game that the 8500 will have problems with in the future, the 4200 will have them too. By then, the 9700 & nv30 will have come out and dropped in price.

The 4200 is faster, but not enough to worry about. Go with the best price or wait untill the R300 comes out, then decide.

If and only if they were allowed to use hollowpoints, I'd say the 9mm, because the difference in one shot stops is only a couple of % and you have a 15 shot clip. FMJ's are a different story, there's about a 20-30% difference between the two.
