Go for the rollerball, they write far better than ballpoints. I've recently taken to using fountain pens myself, and I like them a lot. Rollerballs aren't quite as good in my opinion, but they are better than ballpoints.
VisionTek did go under. Then they got bought by some company that switched them to ATi. I don't even think its the same people as the old one (could be wrong tho', i seem to recall BFG bought some of the infrastructure of the old VT). anyway that said, i think they are still making good products
A cable that looks much like that comes with some Matrox video cards (G450 for certain). It does just run the TV signal through extra pins on the VGA port (you'll note that that cable has all the pins in it). It will not work on all computers. I haven't heard of any non-matrox video cards using...
thats pretty much the conclusion i've come to, but it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. As I said in my earlier thread, it started upon having to hit the reset switch after the computer froze. It particularly sucks because i just RMAed it. Oh well...
I now have it hooked up to my CRT rathe than my Digital Flat Panel that it was hooked up to previously. Now instead of it freezing and giving me a black screen except for the pointer, it just freezes with the current screen.
Suggestions?? Anyone??
I posted my previous problem here.
I wasn't able to fix it, and went ahead and reinstalled WindowsXP. Then when I attempted to install the drivers for my Gainward GeForce4 Ti4200, it froze with a black screen except for the mouse pointer and a small area around it.
I've reinstalled windows...
Both options should be possible
option A might depend upon your ISP, you could probably ask them how to set it up, you have the general idea though.
for option B you just need 2 network cards in that comp. as you say. I'm going to assume you're using windows. Windows XP ( and i think 2k too)...
I'm not really familliar with the whole MS testing scheme. Would one or both of these tests make you a "Microsoft Certified Professional"? Anything better? or do you need to take more tests to get anything impressive sounding?
I've tried booting with no network card after uninstalling the new network card drivers and that didn't work. The Netgear card no longer appears in the device manager, so I'm unclear as to how to uninstall tcp/ip.
My computer refuses to boot into Windows (XP SP1 installed), It gets to the WindowsXP logo screen immediately folllowing POST. Once there, the little status bar goes around a couple times and then freezes.
The problem originally began when I was running BitTorrent (a small p2p app, very cool...
Couldn't you use this in conjunction with This deal to get the hard drive for $29.98?
$165+$119.98 - $10 instant rebate - $50 Coupon - $30 MIR -$165 MIR = $29.98
If you are going to be making cables more than just a couple times I highly suggest a good Ratcheting type crimper. I have to pairs of crimpers (long story) one is ratcheting the other is not and the difference is big.

I don't live anywhere near any Office Depot's. In fact I have no idea where there are OfficeDepots but their website says there are none within 60 miles of me.
I tried ordering online but it was going to backorder it and it wouldn't take the coupon. So I called the phone number for orders...
Great deal.
I went for just the hard drive, plus I needed some other things from staples that pushed it up to $148. Added $2 worth of junk $30 off 150 coupon and there we go, the harddrive affectively cost me $72, since I had to get the other stuff anyway. Not to mention Staples always has free...
The staples site says its only up to 100Mb/sec hence ATA100 not 133.
Nevermind... Just checked the Maxtor site for that model number and it appears to be 133
I'm rather confused. I see how to get the camera for $250, but where does the CF card come in?
with it, it would be a sweet deal. can someone please elaborate? Thanks.
Can you plug more than one CC into one of the power supplies? And if so would I still be able to switch them on and off independently (I would assume you could)?
Not only what the above people said, with most setups you have to put the TV/monitor/whatever upside down since the image is reversed. Otherwise it becomes more complex.
Where's the hot deal?
