Sad to see the site going away.
I know they say it will stay open, but I assume that over time traffic will shrink and decisions will be made about spending the money to keep it open at all.
I tend to keep my drivers a bit behind anyway unless I see the need to update in the games I play so I should be ok for now.
I guess my only option is to manually see if I can delete the telemetry after drivers are installed.
I will admit this might get me to start looking at radeon cards...
I deleted the update in my Geforce experience which stops the update to 3.0 for now. Guessing I am going to uninstall the program since I do not really want to have yet another thing I need to log into just to get driver updates.
In the end my GTX 970 purchase worked out real well.
I got lucky and got $60 plus tax back from Amazon because of the free game promotion that happened right after I bought my card.
Now I guess I am getting $30 more back.
I think $239 effective cost for my GTX 970 was money well spent...
My gut feeling is people will select the higher priced option in a poll, but when they actually buy a product will look at reviews and many of them will buy the best value which could likely end up being the 1070.
Will they rename existing GPUs or just drop prices on the 9 series skus to fit below 1070 in price?
My gut feeling is they will just drop prices on the 950, 960, 970 and the 980 all being below the 1070 assuming the costs will allow them to profit at the lower prices.
Or will they just...
It is how I play so for you it is a horrible reason for myself the reason makes sense.
I do not want to relevel a new character because I screwed up on a build.
While I often look at preferred builds I generally like to mess around with builds a bit to find one I like even if it is...
Sadly this is why I will never go back to POE.
Until they allow respecs so you can play around with specs without a ton of grinding to fix mistakes the game is not playable for me.
I keep hoping at some point they will make that change.
I am sure glad I never tossed some money at them...
I would wait a few months since the new expansion is not hitting until around September anyway unless you really need one right now.
The odds are some new GPU's will be hitting in the next few months which should at the least drop prices on existing GPU's or give you a better option in a new GPU.
I always thought of VR as a niche product that I have zero interest in anyway.
So at a price that high I am not sure why anyone would buy it unless they really want VR.
I figure by 2020 I will need a new computer anyway so who cares if my system is running Win 10 or Win 7 at that point.
So I intend to stay with the operating system I like which is Win 7.
I see nothing in Win 10 that I need right now.
I still might upgrade at the last minute although I...
I did find it pretty crazy that my mother called me to tell me her Widows 7 computer was not working.
I live close enough that I headed over and it had not booted into Windows and was stuck on a screen trying to repair windows and failing to do it.
So I force shut the computer down and it...
I did not like the look of the new version of the start menu they are using for Win 10.
I also do not want to lose Windows media Center.
So I have no choice but to stay with Windows 7.
I guess once all support for Win 7 dies I will be forced to buy a new computer and decide what OS to...
My Hard drive just died so I would love a chance at the 6 TB Hard drive.
I also would love the GTX 960 since my GTX 750 is getting a bit long in the tooth.
I do not have a MB compatible with the SSD drive so good luck for those who do.
Thank you for the contest.
My gut feeling is that review sites who are blacklisted will buy a nano and test it then return it within the return window.
I bet they only generate a returned product and not an actual sale.
Plus of course an auto bad review.
My gut feeling is people will need a ton more information. My GTX 970 has no issues playing back videos or Dvd's.
What software are you using?
What type of files or media are you playing?
What are your basic computer specs? CPU, Ram, OS. things like that.
The more information you give people...
I would value water cooling if the GPU had overclocking headroom. So far it seems like the Fury does not overclock well so I am not sure the advantage of paying more for the cooler.
To be fair we have no idea when a new member pops in to say something if they are paid to say it or not. In fact you saying you are not does not mean much anyway.
I would likely wait to see what AMD has up their sleeve before buying any card right now.
However, if I needed a card right now...
I know I am past my return window plus I got a great deal on my GTX 970 when Amazon decided to give me a $70 credit since I ordered mine just before the announcement of the free game.
So I am figuring I am still good plus I fully expect that Nvidia will be sued and I will get a few dollars or...
My gut feeling would be to cut your losses.
Use the card and if it does go bad buy something else from another vendor and never purchase from ASUS again.
At some point the time and aggravation is probably not worth it.
I was thinking about buying their GTX 970.
Now I have decided to just avoid Asus since if I have a problem I know it will be a huge hassle to deal with them over repairs or a replacement card.
The one I got one a month ago and it had a fully functioning agp slot. why would they bother to do this since they could just use a cheaper MB without AGP instead of spending time and money to alter them.
yep mpsuperstore or marine park are not a dealer to buy from.

I added it into my cart and still did not see any additional discount.
Ok got it to work. I shut down my browser right clicked on the link and opened new window and then when I went to the final screen it was in the cart :)
I agree that I am not seeing this additional money off. I see the referral link and I see the same discount if I use it or not.
In my cart I only see the money off that dell is giving to everyone.
I returned a video card that was not working right. I told them that it was defective and they smiled at me and placed a sticker on it and I found it back out for sale the next day.
I never buy anything that has been opened at Fry's.
