Kyro 2 benchmark in Wolfenstein against GF's models

Not bad Kyro 2 Not bad at all. Using new drivers too!!! Benchmark Notice the 32bit results with compression enabled... Makes a big difference:)

Look at these Kyro Benchmarks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well said BFG, price to performance ratio is all that matters. Unless you are hardcore and gotta have the best;). that is probably why people who need a card now are jumping on the Kyro 2 bandwagon since it is the best upgrade for now(no need to spend more money if great cards are right around...

I got the Kyro II. I need help setting it up.

Teasy says to get the latest version of Directx (8.1a 602). It may boost speed in certain games. Other than that you should be good to go. Just keep an Eye out for new drivers.

I am sure memory bandwidth will still be a problem for this card, but not as bad as the GF3. The geforce 3 can only match a Radeon now, as far as reducing overdraw goes, Link and I am sure the Radeon's HSR has improved but still should be a problem. By the way 6 pipelines and a minimum of 3...

Just thought I would give all Voodoo owners and any future owners a heads up about this since Voodoo 5 was brought up.... Bad news The Voodoo 5 may be inexpensive card to get now but may not be worth it since Microsoft cut support thanks to Nvidia.
