time for new earbuds

I need to visit a store and actually look at them, but from what I've read so far, the picture quality on the value panasonic plasma should blow me away. (I'm currently using a 4-5 year old 37" Westinghouse LVM-37W3) If that's the case, then spending an extra thousand probably won't be worth it...

I've seen recommendations here that for large screens, plasma is the way to go. But, then on avsforum I read about people having issues with image retention. If my wife pauses the Tivo and then forgets about it, will that ruin the tv? That scenario really has me considering a Sony XBR55HX929...

Is it stupid to buy an AT&T iPhone 4 at this time?

Best high-performance low-noise fan.

Have you come across silentpcreview yet? Great site if you really want to get a quiet setup. I'm currently using 4 120mm PWM fans, low rpm at idle, and automatic spin up under load.

Micron C400 Benchmarks!!!!

The C400 is nice, but I was hoping the drive released a year after the C300 would have significant performance improvements in all categories, not tradeoffs. I think the initial negative reaction is due to the C400 not meeting expectations/hype.

At the end of Friday the 18th, I got an email with a tracking number saying my order has shipped. Per UPS, my Asrock P67 Pro3 is on the way, and should arrive by this Friday the 25th. So far so good, will update if anything changes.

Called up superbiiz about my order, CSR said same thing web site does - Released for Distribution. According to them, that means the product was in stock, order went to warehouse, and should be shipped right away. If it hasn't shipped by Monday I'll cancel the order then.
