Others I've enjoyed: Brain Age 2, New Super Mario Bros, Big Brain Academy (didn't like this one as much as Brain Age), Trauma Center, Phoenix Wright
My boyfriend and I are building a new computer for him, we have everything put together but the keyboard will not work.
When we boot the computer up, there seems to be power going to everything initially, and the keyboard and mouse lights will blink, but after we get to the motherboard boot...
Bleh, I bought a card only Ti4400 recently and the guy even put it in his 5700U box and double boxed that to ship it to me.
I don't think there's any excuse to ship even a non-collector's graphics card like that... way to advertise to anyone and everyone who may be looking to steal it.
I talked to him just now and he says he installed the drivers from the disc and then installed the newest ones from ATI... he should skip the drivers disc completely, right?
My friend in my clan just got a 9700pro (used,) upgrading from an FX5200.
Everytime he tries to play a game it will crash after a few minutes of playing and sometimes his pc reboots with a message saying the system recovered from a serious crash and the videocard is stuck in a loop. :( Any...
chynkboi - start with the tiny (level 1) animals first until you level up. Or better yet, team up with someone and kill them together. Remember to hit U to distribute your IP points to get better skills.
The fan on my friend's PCI FX5200 started acting up, and apparently now 2 of the fan blades have actually broken off. He is looking for a replacement, but all the specs indicate is support for "FX 5200" without mention of whether it is AGP or PCI. Is there a difference?
Oh, and he has a PNY...
Vikroda - I was looking for the Trilogy, lol. Thanks anyway though. :)
I have a question - can you STL on orders you've already placed, or only immediately after placing the order? (and if so, how do you do it?)
I am ordering the Extended Triology tonight... can anyone STL to me? I will update this post and return the favor to anyone who needs it when I place the order. :-)
The Shuttle PSUs are very high quality; I don't think you will have issues running a 6600GT.
You can do a few mods to improve the airflow... just removing the rear fan grille should give you a few degrees drop in temperature.
I have a 1703fp and I love it (paid over $300 a few weeks ago, and that's with the 25% off Dellf coupon :o I should've waited...)
If you go for a Dell, be sure to look for a Dellf coupon, and also one of the $25-$35 off coupons you can get from coupon sites.
Another vote for Canon cameras here... I did a ton of research last year before buying mine (sites like http://www.dcresource.com/, http://www.dpreview.net/, etc. as well as trying them out in store) and I love the Canon s400 I picked. Great quality picture, great startup & shot-to-shot...
Also check out the Rio Carbon. Only bad thing I've heard about them is the headphone jack thing, but that is easily fixed with a piece of tape, plus Rio should be fixing that soon if they haven't already.
Gooose - you need a Dellf Delivers 25% off LCD coupon, then stack it with a $35 off to get $264 (+ tax in some states.) I don't know how ethiopianbuffman got it for $232 w/ CA tax though. :(
uwanna - Are you sure you have this exact model? The specs say that this is the one WITH an IR receiver (http://www.circuitcity.com/rps...etailAccessory.do#tabs
CocoGdog - are you talking about the model with receiver or the one without? AFAIK the model WITH receiver (this one) doesn't work with the built-in receivers for the newer PS2s.
Still a good deal though. :)
Thank you for the response Viper. I was just about set on the Acer until I got my hands on a 25% off any Dell flat panel coupon today. Hopefully it'll be all right. :)
I have:
$50 off dell printer order over $100
$25 off 20GB dell Jukebox
$150 off Dimension desktop over $999
25% off Dimension desktop over $1499
PM me if you'd like one. If anyone has a "25% of any flat panel" coupon, I would be so incredibly grateful to have it... :)
Correct... the measurement given is the length of the diagonal, but while LCD measurements are only of the viewable area, CRT measurements include the bezel (unless it specifically states "viewable", e.g. 17" CRT, 16" viewable)
