I wouldn't call that statement 100% proof. But it does now appear that Newegg knew of the dollar limit Paypal imposed and miscalculated the impact on their sales for the day. At also appears, that the 'Egg's upper management is currently discussing the screw-up and how they will resolve it to...
The only fault I blame on Newegg is the poor notification to its customers that the deal had ended. The banner across the promo banner was pretty lame and practically un-noticeable to most people that skimmed the page.
The real blame falls on Paypal. it was their promotion. It was PP that...
I search the drive number and tells me it's a 7200.9 I've got four of the 320 gb 7200.10s in various PCs. I bought them when they first hit the streets last year. I haven't had the first problem with any of them. Yeah, they are a bit louder then the 7200.9 and definitely run hotter then the...
I have the compact version of this keyboard. It rolls-up nice, but the keys are real mushy and they kind of roll-around under the wieght of your fingers. Something I sure wouldn't want to type-on on a daily basis.
LegendKiller you are really starting to sound like a communist. (ok course true Dems always do). You know if you really don't like this country you can always leave... Can I help you pack your things?
Classic Democrat Response, thanks!! Negitivity and Fear-Mongering ..Doom and Gloom. I'm really surprised you admitted that you voted for bush in 2000 (or was that just a ploy to give your statement some semblance of credibilty?)
I can't say I was around in '29, but most economic experts...
So all change is good, huh. How terrible are things?
1. The stock market is dancing around an all time high,
2. Economy is good,
3. Unemployment is low, etc.
I'm old enough to remember 1980 when Jimmy Carter was leaving office...
The important thing to remember is to vote.
Throwing in my $0.02, here is a "wake-up call" from those far-left New Yorker's that would love to run the country (seems fitting that it was published today).
New York Times - Nov 7th
No doubt. I bet their bandwidth fees are going to be "out the arse" for this fiasco. I know SDers, and FWers have been hammering the site all morning. Somebody a few posts back spoke about there being a thousand orders over at Page. Try, tens of thousands.
The value select stuff won't run much more than 200 FSB so if you're OCing at all, you'll have to turn the ram down to 333 or lower (since the processor FSB has been raised.)Mine is set at DDR333 which runs the ram at ~258 FSB when my processor is at 323 FSB (4:5 ratio). That 4 stick limitation...
Snipped from my FW thread when I compared it to my 7800 GT CO:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Care to mention what's your CPU? I think 31K to 35K improvement in 3DMark2001 SE is not that great...
I thought it odd too, but I've never owned a high-end card like a GTX before. It might be the norm for a GTX (7800 or 7900) to run at two differrent speeds depending on the mode.
The card still idles at 113 through 115F in my box last night. (which happens to right at the temp the fan starts...
I got my Mwave GTO in last night. I dropped it in and installed Rivatuner. I overclocked the memory to ~1600 mhz (799x2) and started gaming. CS:S, FEAR, and Quake 4 with the bells and whistles turned on. She hasn't flinched yet; solid as a rock. She's a GTX that came in a dfferent box. One...
My 165 will run 2.9 ghz @ 1.44 volts on the core rock stable (but I'm on water). It'll do 3.0 @ 1.5 volts. Nothing special about the chip, just a OEM from Monarch back in May. My 146 before that would run 3.1 ghz. These Opti's overclock like crazy.
I've actually seen several variants across the web for this quote. I can't say for sure which one is right, but Wiki isn't always the most reliable. I'll keep researching and will change it if its not right.
BTW: I do disagree on your second quote from Mill's. Have you ever listened to...
I've had one these drive for a couple of weeks. I'm really impressed with its speed and low noise. I've benchmarked against my 74Gb Raptor boot drive and it beats it consistently (I guess I need to defrag my boot drive and run it again :o )
I really like the usb version. It has the DSP, when you plug it in it takes over the audio output so I don't have to unplug my Logitech 5.1 speakers, and it automatically adjusts the WinXP speaker configuration from the existing 5.1 channel to headphones and reduces the volume slightly.
First off IMHO, FPS gamers get pwned in CS:S, WOW, Quakex, etc. by people wearing good headsets. You literally don't know what you're missing in these games while you sneak around corners, etc. I own a pair of the Plantronics GAME COM PRO 1 USB for my hours of CS:S. You can hear their foot...
