    Ok, I'm on about a 150 dollar budget and I want a faster card. Right now I have a Radeon 8500 64 meg. I'm looking into getting a 9600 non pro. Will I notice an increase in frame rate signifigantly over my 8500 right now? Or should I wait?

    winfast tv2000xp-> can it capture straight to divx with 3rd party software?

    Try ShowShifter. I use it all the time and it can compress to any codec on your computer, but it prefers DivX5, works like a charm for me. Hope this helps.

    Then your memory is probably holding you back. Crucial and Corsair memory can usually handle the higher FSB speeds.

    Which burner to get: DVD-RW or DVD+RW

    From what I hear both are pretty compatible, so it might not make much of a difference which you choose. I personally would pick a -R/RW of the +R/RW because -R/RW looks normal and + doesn't. Kinda dumb but you could just get one of those Sony drives that does both.

    ATi TV Wonder

    Just letting you guys know...the garbled video XP problem isn't a driver problem, it's the ATi TV Tuner Software. Try different software like ShowShifter (www.showshifter.com) or WinDVR (www.intervideo.com). I'm using ShowShifter and haven't had garbled video at all.

    Apparantly you guys weren't getting my drift. I was asking about the stuttering...not the color problem. That's fixed by using different TV Tuner software, like WinDVR. But I fixed it, Windows was being gay about my IDE controller and I reinstalled it an no probs.

    HD stuck in PIO mode, WinXP won't let me change it! Help!

    Okay the problem is that my WD 80GB SE drive is stuck in PIO mode. Everything takes forever. I've set all of the settings to use DMA but it doesn't work. Used Data Lifegurad tools to make sure my drive was set to UDMA 100 but still nothing. I would be very greatful if I got any help.

    The GF3 ti200 bar none against any GF4 MX. The GF MX is just a higher clocked GF2 MX...I think. You'll get better preformance and shaders outta the GF3.
