Asus Nforce2 Delux 2100+ Tbred-B (0301) HyperX 3500 (256x2) Clock multis over 13 all work fine....but I want to run 10, 11 & 12....& higher FSB....but it won't. Example system runs 100% stable @ 13x166, however 10x166 reboots the system. (over & over & over) What am I doing wrong? Or do I...

How fast does P4 3Ghz Crunch Seti WU's?? (Average)

The bartons are going in the "Dual" system...not that I couldn't buy a couple of 2.8Ghz xeons & system board...but the cost vs. performance #'s just don't line up in favor of the Xeons. (P4's don't do the "Dual" dance.) :(

Thanks for the info fellas Just upgraded two of my personal systems right before the release of the barton core. :( Should have waited. However the systems do run very well. System #1 Is running Dual XP2100+ Tbred Bcore Cpu's. (Hard Modded to MP3000's) 2.35Ghz each System #2 Is running one...

Man have I got a story for you...when I found out that you could "blow" the L3 bridges of the AMD processor (by shorting them out w/ 5Vdc) & set the clock Mulitplier on the CPU itself I thought this is exactly what I needed to do. Because having an Asus A7m266-D doesn't allow to change the cpu...

Is overclocking harming my performance?

I ordered over 20 IBM Deskstar 75GXP HDs & am not at all pleased with thier quality. Out so far 4 have died within a week of use. The problem is probably with the drive & not the OC'd system. Run scandisk & defrag.

Display anamolies/Hard lockups--new system-video card? Never seen this. (Lots more)

In the system bios settings, find & disable video ram cacheable. (disable video bios cacheable if the above doens't fix the problem.)

ATI AIW Radeon comes up as PCI device in Win2k and not AGP

In the Award Bios setup under advanced chipset feature look for the Primary Video Device = PCI and change it to AGP (note: the wording may be a bit different)

Abit Kt7a Raid Can't install Windows NT 4.0 !! Help

Thanks for the heads up, (found the "F6" trick) When I attempted to load the raid drivers (after hitting the "S" key) The system would not read the floppy drive. (Tried mutiple disks & even ran scandisk on them from a different system!) But everything is being...

Help, Can't seem to get Windows NT installed.

The disk has the correct SCSI drivers, but even if I choose not to install the SCSI drivers the system won't load the 3rd NT setup disk. It's almost like the Floppy controller quits working after the NT kernel loads. ?

Thanks for quick replys, I've scanned the Floppy disks (both, SCSI driver & NT setup #3) both are fine. I will attempt to boot from the CD, but have never setup NT that way before. (IF that doesn't work I guess I'll just have to boot with a 98 Disk & copy the I386 directory to the HD...

The system was running perfectly fine with W98, then Fdisked the Raid array & started loading NT. Everything is fine up to the point where the kernel loads & it asks for the third party SCSI drivers (or setup disk #3) then it won't read the floppy drive! :( Very strange, because...
