Wireless connection

think i solved the problem. i changed the channel and seems to work now. i tihnk there were just too many people in my apartment block using the same (default) channel causing too much interference.

yeah, thats the way its setup. is there a way to block all other networks? also, sometimes it will bring up a message saying wireless netwwork available so i click connect... nothing happens for a while and then it just says wireless network available again maybe my router is messed up

Hi, I've got an Acer Travelmate 803LMi and a Netgear 54Mbps wireless router. for the most part its been ok but recently its been getting quite buggy. Whenever it detects another wireless network it gets all confused and refuses to connect to my router or if it does it disconnects frequently...

Well, Robert Reich never been overly concerned with deficit spending so i'm not entirely surprised at what he said. He does have a point.. the whole Social security surplus issue is all politics. But, Washington is all about perception, spin and politics... I can just see the Democrats now...

Formula One GP Nuerburgring (Spoiler!)

The stop and go totally sucked, ruined the entire race. What a boring season this is turning out to be. What's with Mclaren? Hakkinen is asleep at the wheel and Coulthard isn't much better... plus the car is so slow Hakkinen got lapped. Williams looks impressive but its hard to say how much...

Well, essentially if everything he created also moved at his speed... then time would be much slower for him and his creations relative to the rest of us. So what he creates in 7 days would seem much longer for us.

American melting pot? Thats just a myth. Culture in the US is vastly different for each area. Texas, New York, and California are as different as can be. In fact, I would say a person living in Seattle has more in common in a Vancouverite than with anyone in Arkansas.

Great win for Schumacher! Ralf Schumacher that is. The BMW Williams has had many problems this year but today it was simply perfect. The speed is definitely there, tires look good and Ralf is on top of his game so if only the reliability is there Williams could take a few more checkered flags...
