Asus TV FM or Leadtek TV2000 XP Expert?

I know the Leadtek is a great choice with a 10 bit ADC and decent software, but the versatility of the Asus remote is very appealing. I'll be using it for Hi8 tranfers and PVR. Any recommendations or comments? Comments from anybody using the Asus would be appreciated.

Does anyone know of a XP Flex ATX MB that has an AGP slot? or...a mATX MB?

Fullscreen movies on Hydravision?

Those ATi drivers still need ALOT of work. Thanks for the Theater Mode setting, it's exactly what I was looking for. Now if I could get the setting to stick when switching back and forth between dual display I'd be set!

1 AGP and 1 PCI video card on the same computer?

I recall a BIOS setting for defaulting to the VGA to the AGP card (which would be the 8500). So given that the 8500 (AGP) is the primary display, how would I set up the AIW (PCI) to view the video input/TV on my monitor which is connecred to the AGP card? Hmmmm.....

which radeon should i get?

Be wary of Sapphire... they look good on the surface but when you really look at the specs you notice stuff like single head (no Hydravision) or really slow memory (like 183 Mhz not 275Mhz) Those hopefully are not US dollars (especially for Sapphire) but from your list I'd go for the ATI Radeon...

Looking for a Sub $120 Video Card please help

 The closest competitor to the Ti4200 is the ATi 8500 and it can be had for a lot less which makes it the biggest bang for your price point. I just bought an 8500 64Mb (Retail boxed built by ATi) for $110 + shipping... and prices are supposed to drop...

Help!!! Videocard installation problem!!!

It sounds like a hard drive problem to me. Perhaps when the GF3 is installed the registry filegets big enough to encounter a bad block/sector on the drive. Check the drive for errors with Check Disk and be sure to do a surface or sector scan. If the drive is under warranty and it has bad blocks...

Should I even bother with refurbished video cards?

IMHO refurbished means defective - not defective as in it wouldn't work at all, but that it atleast wasn't working upto the manufacturers specs or had some bug (like a bad resistor or whatever).As The_Lurker said there actually may not have been anything really wrong with it in the first place...

What Graphics Card for AMD K6-III based system?

I have a Voodoo 2 1000 PCI in my HP Pavillion 333 MHz (tried for the V2 2000 but I couldn't disable the onboard video back then). Works great and I'd recommend it or any other similar 3dFX card.

System Locks Up When I Try To Play An MPG.

Had a similar problem, for me DVD's would lock the system. Try this from Microsoft, AGP Program May Hang When Using Page Size Extension on Athlon Processor it worked for me. Alsoyou may want to check out Video Hangs When You Run a 3D Graphics Programs .
