Yesterday my pal came to me and said that his comp is too hot. He check his cpu temp around 57-59 Celcius. He using AMD Burton 2800 and using cpu fan Volcano 7+.
Is this temp too hot or its suppose to be for burton.

from my exp if the problem came from hardware it could be your temp too hot but u said u'r system temp normal. check your harddisk temp, my friend have a problem with his windows and found that his hd too hot and combine with his vga card make the cpu inside like in hell. If this solution can't...

i use quantum 40 GB and i feel my comp is slower than my friend. i use t-bird 900 and 382 MB memory.
but if i enter games like diablo my comp freeze a moment and i saw the HD led flip continues.
Should i change my HD ?:confused:
if there's somethign wrong with the power supply it can burn your motherboard like me. but i'm bit confused why a floppy drive can do this?
i think u smell the floppy drive is smell like something burn or maybe u'r cable was not in good condition ?
