    I have rounded cables too. One I made and 2 I purchased. Yes, my boots don't cover the wires either. I have had them for 2 years with no problems. It's more a nuisance that they don't cover the wires. Kinda of like boxers riding up. Hope you don't have any problems with yours.

    Correct, the LCD is VGA. I checked out the Matrox cards and noticed that G550 has a DVI/VGA converter? I only saw the picture, so am not sure. I've heard that the G400/450 have sharp 2D on "regular" monitors, just wanted to check if that was true for LCD as well.
