Free CD Ripping software?

Rio 2.5 GB CE2100 mp3 player $79.99 @ FYE AR

Hey guys, I just picked up the RIO 2.5 GB mp3 player from the FYE music store. It was 120 plus tax and comes with a $40 MIR. this is like the carbon, pretty solid. the carbon is 5GB. Cheers, Raj

BitTorrent across a Network

Look up the direct connect program. We used to use it at the Seattle U Dorms. its like setting up your own private kazaa like network. You install a hub version on one pc, and a client version on all other pcs.

Any Kite Boarding people in here?

Hi Guys, So i know how to work a sail kite. I used to have a two meter one, and flew it all the time. got pretty good at it too. But, flying it while on a board, seems a lil complcated (ya think?). Can anyone recommend a good place to start getting some info. Maybe a forum of some sort...

Ok so I have 3 PCs that are legitimately licensend with Windows XP. They have the product license sticker on the side of the PCs however, the discs are nowhere to be found. Any Idea if Microsoft has a replacement program of some sort? any Ideas?

Slow response on main computer & won't connect

I am assuming you have a wireless lan set up, since you mentioned laptop. Its possible that the cordless phones and infant monitors maybe causing some interference but its unlikely. try this. carry your laptop downstairs and look at what hapens to the signal strength. it should probably go...

Perplexing LAN problem

verify that the netbios protocol on all three PCs. It is installed through the tcp/ip under network settings for yoru NIC. once installed you'll be able to browse the network, kinda like the network neighborhood.

improving 802.11 signal/pci card recommendation

inside the wireless settings on your access point device, there should be an option that allows you to change broadcast channels, much like you would on a cordless phone. Try changing channels to see if you get a better signal.

these guys are right. you may have a worm or a virus on your PC. go here http://housecall.trendmicro.com this is a free online virus scan. run it and see if it picks up anything. good luck.

You should be able to unscrew the bolts on the bottom and reposition them according to the way that the screw holes are set up on the mother board.

sounds like a failing Hard Drive. I worked on a PC that similar symptoms last week. You may have already doen this but try running scandisk and/or defrag and see what happens. If you get errors during defrag that will surely suggest a failing hard drive. If you get errors during scan...

PC won't boot

Hi SMC13, I tried using different power cables, different wall sockets. Made sure the wall sockets as well as the cables were functioning properly. I made sure all the cables were seated securely on the mlb. The PC was running previously so I don't think it is shorting. any other Ideas?
