I purchased my '03 Wrangler with 48 miles. 5+ years later it's paid off with 46,000 miles. It used to be my daily driver, but now it's my fun/project vehicle. A '97 Grand AM GT is my daily driver.
I've considered purchasing a "Used Mint Motorola Q" on eBay for $90.00 versus spending $70.00 on a new Motorola Q9c and signing a new two year contract. From what I've read the Q9c is lacking in the RAM department. Does anyone have advice for me or anyone else in this situation?
Cliff Gullett grew up in my hometown. He was a great man who had a passion for speed. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, kids, and family. Here's a better article and pictures of Cliff Gullett.
 Anti-Vir is good stuff. I've used it for years and never had any issues. The only thing I like about AVG is that it scans incoming e-mail and Anti-Vir does not.
Give it another week. I got in on this deal twice myself, once last year and once this year. I have yet to receive my rebate from 2007, but I received my 2008 rebate within four weeks. Go figure...v:confused:
How well do you think this combo would fair as a HTPC for 720P & 1080i playback as well as some DVD recording? I also have a ATI Radeon 2600XT and 2GB DDR2 to round out the combo.
Wow..... I'm glad you and your family made it out of the house unscathed. Keep your chin up, an experience such as this will make you that much more of a stronger person.
I guess I was one of the lucky ones that got in on this deal before it went OOS again. For me, the lack of heatsinks on the RAM chips was not a dealbreaker at this price (AR).
That's sad news....I can't believe I didn't hear about this sooner. I must've been living under a rock the past week. My heart goes out to his family. :(
