For those who are not within a reasonable distance from a Fry's store, just print out the game section of the weekly ad, and Price Match at your local Best Buy or Circuit City. Good Luck!
Actually, if you just save a copy of the rebate onto your HD, then I don't see why EBgames wouldn't honor it up to its expiration date of 8/3/03. Some of the $29.99 games could go cheaper in the meantime, if you are willing to wait.

Scour the internet and bring back some deals.
I agree with Au Tiger about checking other sources for reviews on certain games. Don't base your decisions on what other people think, since you and anyone else will likely have different tastes. No one mentioned either of EA Big's recent offerings of Def Jam Vendetta and NBA Street Vol. 2. I...
Yeah, it was the same story for me at the City of Industry, CA Fry's; I ended up only getting AI, but I'll have to say that the GC game selection there is the largest I've ever seen at any store.
No, go to your local Gamestop; they have them for $4.99. Target's cables are rebadged Madcatz cables, but the packages sold at Gamestop have original Madcatz packaging.
I have a Wavebird, but I find myself using the extension cable more lately to play Wind Waker. I like the vibrating feature...
NFL 2K3 for $9.99 at Toys 'R Us.com; I'm not sure if the price is reflected in-store as well.
About that $15 off order at the EA Store, has anyone else tried it? I can't seem to get it to work.
For those of you who can't find a Target with those enormous clearances deals, EBgames is now discounting some of their EA Sports games: NBA Live 2003, Tiger Woods 2003, NHL 2003 all for $19.99. If you wait a little bit, these prices should be reflected in-store as well.
This isn't a deal, but EBgames is offering Sega Soccer Slam New for $49.99. I find this odd since it's out of stock everywhere else. I guess Sega is trying to milk the latest Soccer Slam craze by releasing additional copies of it.
Sorry, that's my bad, Quixotic. I assumed you were talking about Wavebirds before. Thanks for the heads up on those Costco deals, Au Tiger. I have never seen controllers for sale at any Costco, but maybe Mario Sunshine and TS2 are selling for those online prices at their warehouses as well.
I picked up TW PGA Tour 2003 for $7.98 and NASCAR 2003 for $4.98 + plus tax at my local Target. These deals are definitely YMMV, since I went to other various targets and they scanned up at higher prices. I can also confirm that they had Lost Kingdoms and Bloody Roar: Primal Fury for $7.98 each...
EB Store prices will reflect online prices after a while, so just hang on ... I rushed to buy NBA 2K3 and NFL 2K3 online only to find that it is the same price in the store.
Thanks for the heads up. As my buddy put it, this game is a great way to last us until F-Zero comes crashing to the scene. XG3 has a two player cooperative mode and supports up to 4 players. What more could you ask for in a game?
Thanks for the info qball. My local Target sucks with deals. They never ever have any red tag items, even though sometimes they will scan at Clearance prices. It seems to me that Target's clearance prices are restricted to a certain region even within a state.
I went to my local EB this Saturday, and I bought Baldur's Gate for $20 plus tax. It seems like their prices eventually reflect the website prices, so you may want to think about picking up a copy before store prices change.
Rats! I was waiting for this game to go cheaper than $20, but it went the other way. On another note, can someone confirm that NFL Blitz is still $9.99 at Walmart?
