short freezes

BSOD Registry error

i have found the problem to be the SAM file, it was corrupt because the computer wasn't shut down properly during the logon. Is there anyway to fix the sam file.. i don't want to replace it because the administrator passwords on backup sam files are unknown. thanks

ok thanks, the registry was fixed, but now i cannot logon to windows, i don't know the administrator password, and it is not the one that i was using before

I lended my laptop to one of my roommates, and from now on i never will. But for somereason when it is booting to windows xp it gives BSOD with registry error, i tried booting into safe mode but still the same problem. Can anybody give a suggestion. it's IBM thinkpad R51 Thanks

Active Sync crash!!

dvd-drive not reading dvd

the thing is, it doesn't look like hd-lag problem, i get frame skips evenly. i remember when i had actual cache problems and this looks abit different. I did clean install windows xp. Will come home and check one thing though...I have 3 hd's and the one with doom may be on the same ide cable as...

ok here's what i think could be the problem, my ram isn't really top quality, it's generic 1gb, it's not OCZ. it's running at 3-5-5-10 187Mhz. but than again my cpu is running perfect at 2.6ghz. I just did a clean install because i did have problems with cache and games running choppy...

i try playing doom 3 in medium quality on 1024x768 the framerates stay at 60's but i get skipping and choppy movements, i don't know what it is and it is really annoying, does anyone know solution to this problem?

I just got Evga 6600GT 128MB AGP. I installed it overclocked to 555/1.06 and ran 3dmark05 and got a score of 3105. I looked arround forums and my score seems to be lower than average, any ideas to why or what i can do to improve it??

ok the motherboard is A7N8X-deluxe I am running @2.5 (1.750v) with temperatures of 52 My heatsink is Zelman AlCu 7000. Am i doing ok?

My main system being A64 3000+ @2.6 1.575v, it is really scarry for me to increase the voltages above 1.7v for XP-M to attain stability. Can someon advice me on safe range of voltages for my xp-m? Thanx a bunch
