Yes, I was told both rebates would apply especially the HP rebate because they (HP) were aware of the problem (shortage of ze1201's) and it was HP that couldn't fullfill the number of ze1201's ordered. I will verify this with Staples again and hopefully get it in writing.
I just got the Staples call about the upgrade. Before I accepted it, I made sure that both $100 rebates would still be honored using the new model and that the Staples rebate deadline of 10/28 was extended for this deal. She assured me that Staples would honor the rebate even if I can't make...
