    I just installed a Asus V7700 Pro (nVidia Geforce 2 GTS) and every time I go and update the drivers for it and reboot .. my computer freezes. I have tried updated Asus drivers and nVidia detonator (41.09) drivers and they both do the same and I am forced to revert back to XP packaged drivers...

    Yeah, Ive tried two winmodems already. One wasnt compatible with XP, but it would at least boot. I was told that this 3com one will work with XP but my computer wont even post with it in. I dont want to buy a hardware modem because they are generally more expensive.
