My school gives us server 2012 standard for free. I am wondering if it's possible to install it as 2012 essentials with the same features as essentials kind of like how win pro had every thing home had. Or are the features of server essentials not included in standard? (Features like full pc...
LOL you have no idea what gouging is. Prices right now are good. Gouging would be $700+ for a 2600k, you know that's what the high end used to cost in the p4 days.
Flash is one of those things that bogs down machines, it's like a necessary evil. You need it for the web but we would be so much better off with out it.

That should give you an idea of what the motor will look like. You could...
Except people dont generally think like that. They think OOO latest and greatest I want that. If they didn't update stuff as often people would keep systems longer and that means less cash.
Just leave them running while you game, and minimize and look at the temp. Both of those temps seem pretty high, the gpu especially at idle.
For reference my gtx 570 is 38ish C browsing the web and my 2600k is around 36ish C as well.
I wouldn't go dual cards, I would just upgrade to a faster single card. That avoids problems with games that don't work with dual cards and less power and heat.
I would wait as well, if bd is a flop then you are stuck with the mobo. If bd is good then you will get a cheaper price as board prices go down over time.
Most people don't need new cpu's. They need to learn to not install crap that bogs down their systems. My work has all dual core p4's they are still quite fast for an average user.
But intel is a business and they need to make money so new cpus for everyone and who is going to turn down...
Pretty much any board by any manufacturer over $100 has all solid caps. (except maybe a few intel made boards)
Easiest way to tell is just look at the mobo pics on newegg. solid caps look nothing like electrolytic caps. (for the most part anyways)
I highly doubt it's a psu problem (psu's usually don't case bsod's, your pc usually just shuts offs), but that psu is junk I would recommend a different one. What ati tv card do you have? I had an ati 550 pro that caused problems in win7.
Could be your cpu, they aren't bad very often but it...
You can download install isos from straight from Microsoft, you can find the links on google. (These are legit isos, not pirate isos, they come straight from MS) Burn one and install windows then get the drivers from the laptop makers website.
Warranty would fix it I already called (I originally thought I was going to get a refurb which is why I didn't want to do this, but they said they will fix my device and not send a refurb), but I also cannot get it to connect to my schools wifi making it useless there as well. From what I have...
It depends on how much it is, on my 3008wfp it was only $100 for another 2 years on the warranty. Ill spend that when I am spending big bucks on a monitor. But if they want more than $75 a year I would pass. Also if the item is cheap I wouldn't do it.
Oh my fault I miss read your post. I thought you installed on the 64gb and were doing ide to ahci switch. But you have a spindle hdd and this a cache drive. You need to wait longer so it caches things since it does it on what you use and you just barely did it.
Usually one of the dvi ports on the 6000 series is gimped (single link, may or may not work with vga adapter). I think it's because it is shared with the hdmi port (you can't use both at the same time since they are essentially the same connector) at least that's how my 6850 was.
