ok... last question.... Oracle JDK-SE (Standard Edition) is feature-complete although it is very similar to OpenJDK, right?
Just want to make sure everything is ready before I start self-teaching Java. Thanks for all of your inputs!
Sorry for the late reply...
So both OpenJDK and JDK-SE are incomplete? How much approximately does it cost for a complete JDK-SE package if there's one? Should I get the windows or linux version? Thank you.
By "free", I meant free of charge$. Besides, I have no intention (or not pro enough to be precise) in modifying the Java source code. All I want to do is writing Java programs with GUI.
I have some more questions...
1. What are the major differences between Open-JDK and JDK-SE except the...
I would like to see how many peoples will be left if you keep banning everyone who disagree with you in a "FORUM".
As I said, I would get another account to argue with you if I were afraid of getting banned because of "arguing with mod/admin".
Come! It just shows nothing but how your...
Actually, it was removed after I argued with you in the thread below.

Hesitate to admit it?
BTW, I would get another account to argue with you if I were afraid of getting banned because of "arguing with mod/admin".
Hence, warning that you...
That's a good idea!
75C is just insane under 17C with Hyper 212 Plus.
Update: Yes, I have tried IBT as well and the core temps is just 4~5C higher. BTW, I just passed 20 runs IBT test 2 days ago.
Did you make sure that the cooler is well fastened onto the MB? What is your ambient temperature? You need a better cooler if ambient temperature at any time exceeds 30C A N D you are at full load most of the time.
p.s. The core temps of my i5-750@3.6GHz are 48C-44C-44C-41C under 17C ambient...
You will be fine as long as all voltages and temps are within the following spec!
(LGA1156 CPU Maximum/absolute Maximum voltage by Intel: Vcore= 1.40/1.55, Vtt= 1.155/1.21, Vram= 1.575/1.65, PLL= 1.89/1.98, PCH=1.10, max temp 72.7C)
1. Did you read the guide? The max and absolute max Vtt are 1.155V and 1.21V respectively. Your Vtt is way above the absolute max and you are asking for trouble.
2. Follow the guide STEP BY STEP! You are an EXTREMELY unlucky owner of the worst chip if you still can't achieve 185x20=3.7GHz. BTW...
The highest RAM multiplier of i5-750 is 10x and so the best frequency you can achieve on your RAM at BCLK=150 is 1500(=150x10).
However, you can easily set your BCLK to 160 if you really want to run it at rated specs. Although it would make your CPU 3.2GHz(=160x20) by doing so, it won't hurt...

ROFL!

LMAO!
These two are funny article writers and don't even understand the reason behind just like me!
Those charts showing minimal performance gain with 3 way SLI...
The RAM needs to be run at the absolute max vcore, 1.65V, at 1600 and CL8.
I made it 1440 instead of 1600 so that I can stay within the 1.575V which is the maximum ram voltage for both LGA1366 and LGA1156. In addition, even at 1440MHz, exceeding the max ram voltage is required to achieve lower...
There is no such thing as default core voltage. However, many LGA1156 owners consider 1.20V shown in CPU-Z under full load as default core voltage.
p.s. Even the core voltages set in BIOS are the same on two MBs, the actual core voltages can be different depending on the brand, BIOS version...
It is not the relationship between grape and apples!
They are more like the relationship between the best and 2nd BMW cars.
They are the same thing with different classes.
You don't see the performance gain of better i7 under most situations, just like you won't notice the speed difference...
I agree with that X58 is more reasonable now in the US.
The price change is the truth. Why are you so %&^%$&$***? Why do you make such a mean comments like this which helps nothing but making other sad?
LGA1366 IS superior for some professional CAD tasks and video encoding, and this is also shown in the link provided by me. Bob and I do not deny it.
We are just saying that LGA1156 makes more sense for the majority who don't take the extra advantage of the X58 platform.
Aren't you also making assumptions that LGA1366 owners can afford 2 high end card?
Furthermore, 99.99% LGA1366 owners can't afford 2 high end card is the truth. You can open a poll and see how many of the LGA1366 owners have 2 high end cards.
All of your opinions so far are based on your...
+1
I also mentioned this indirectly by telling them 99.99% LGA1366 owners can't afford 2 high end video cards. In addition, the performance difference is unnoticeable even with 2 high end cards under (1920x1200).
Similarly, the future proof is useless on X58 for the majority as 32nm 6-core is...
That is all what I was trying to express and got flamed left to right because of this.
I wonder how many of LGA1366 owners would speak so rudely to me if I was a mod/admin.
These guys called me a childish kid, but me this childish kid at least don't use DIRTY words(e.g. shit) against you...
At least my statements based on proof. Your proof is merely a sentence "LGA1366 is better.". Such an ignorant guy who talks based on feeling instead of evidence!
I would say "Yes, I am experienced compared to ignorant people like you".
attacking other members is not tolerated. If I see another...
@SunnyD :
Your are in my ignored list and I can't even see your post if Meghan54 doesn't quote your posts. You are just a childish kid who speak rudely.
Another insult. KNOCK IT OFF

You still don't get it. I am not talking about the best or cheapest products. What I am talking is the cost-performance ratio.
i7 is of course better, but it's much worse than i5 considering the cost-performance ratio especially the performance gain is minimal.
Can you distinguish between...
1. Price is not concerned by enthusiast? How many LGA1366 board owners got i7-975? How many LGA1366 board owners got 2x GTX295/HD5970?
2. That's something what childish kids would say when others show him/her the truth that he/she does not want to accept.
