It says something about usbd.sys ............ I will try and write it all down the next time it happens. I should probably just get a compact flash / smart media card reader/writer. It would probably solve the whole problem.

About half the time I try to connect my Kodak USB camera to download the pictures, ..... I get a BSOD in win2k. I have USB: camera, visioneer 8100, keyboard, and mouse. I have checked the power consumption in the device manager and it is ok. I have tried to reload the OS and do memtest...
Update on my current rig.....
I tweaked some memory timings in the bios and it looks like I probably am going to be just under 4 hours per work unit instead of 5 :D. I am going to keep tweaking and see what else my rig has to offer. :cool:

I need some advice. I want to help a guy out at my church. He wants to be able to pull up his powerpoint and play it on 4 different tv's at the same time. I think all I need is a video card with the tv out. I just split the one out into 4 outs......? Is this the best way to do it?

I changed the jumper to go into the bios config mode. I told it I had a 266 mhz processor. It booted and showed a P2-266. COOL. I guess I am spoiled to abits jumperless motherboards with automatic detection.....

Ok, I have a Intel slot 1 board with the 440 bx chipset. I bought a P2-266 processor off of egay........ the bios detects it as a 233.....???? The markings on the cpu suggest 266 w 512 l2 cache. What gives?

I was running a dual boot with win2k and 98.
The win2k was my master drive and was NTFS. My 98 drive was a slave drive and was fat32. I had a tweaked boot floppy that could be inserted if you wanted to boot 98. Otherwise win2k booted normally.
