    GUYS, I've said 3 times now. You need to install latest DX9 on Vista. That is the problem. Copying dll's is not the way to do it. The people getting this error are running older dx9 in Vista.

    Inside the game, goto video, change the resolution. Also make sure you turn fullscreen on. Then save it and you should be fine. It had me looking for a cfg for a while till I figured it out. I would take some screenshots but Fraps apparently doesn't work with DX10 yet. :(
