Would the model number really give any clue as to what caused the keyboard to suddenly stop working? Next time I'll be sure and include the model number but the problem seems to be about as fixed as it's going to get. Thanks :wine:
The adapter worked and a ps2 keyboard was used with that adapter...but here in lies the question...why????? The computer lost it's ability to recognize the usb keyboard somehow? Anyone have any idea what in the world would cause that? Please keep in mind that two known working usb keyboards...
No AT port, as I said in my post, the computer has FIVE usb ports...all of which have been tried with a MOUSE and they work...tried with a keyboard and they DO NOT work. It's running windows ME.
