    Whether or not what I want to do is feasible or even what it would fall under (RAID 1+0, 0+1, 5 etc). They give you pretty decent instructions on setting up a RAID 0 or 1 array but pretty much leave out 0+1, except for the little defnition the give you at the beginning.

    This is a bit of a long shot but you might want to try installing the newest BIOS version. A friend of mine had an Aopen Mobo that wouldn't boot at all (it would just sit at "verifying DMI pool" or whatever) and after I updated the BIOS it ran like a champ.

    About 3 years ago I bought an 8KHA+ which had some good reccomendations. It worked fine for a little while but the QC was pretty craptastic. :disgust: I think the nforce3 is probably the better chipset, although there aren't as many boards that use it.
