Which is best Win2k3 or Win2k

I'm going to be hosting my own website. Which does everyone think is best when using IIS? I know Apache for unix is the best but for now I don't know unix commands.

Problem playing mp3s on winamp from cd

they said they replaced it but so far it still does the same thing. I'm not sure if it has WMP on it because I'm writing this for my dad who is having the problem.

Computer Hangs during domain Login

I just setup a domain and when a user login in on WinXP the computer seems to hang for about 45 seconds while it applys personal settings. Is this a problem with the domain being to slow in authenticating the user or is it just a speed issue with the network because it is on a 10Mb section?

Locks up when burning CD on new Mobo

I think I got it working. First I installed the drives from the Asus page and not the nVidia page and I also update the firmware on the drive. So far so good. Still waiting on the Bios update link to work.

Memory Prices Crashing Down.......

Yes yes the good old days. When I built the PC that I'm using now 256 Crucial PC2100 was $35. 1 week later Hynix had that price hike and prices doubled. I can remember it like it was yesterday. Time to buy some PC3200 and 3700.

which power supply is better, Antec True Power or Enermax?

I have 2 Antec, 1 is a non True Power 400 and the other is a TruePower 550. I also have a Enermax 350 and love it. If I were to buy another PS I would have to go with Enermax. I think the Enermax is made better because on both of my Antec the cable clips that hold the ends of the wires in...

I have the Antec SX1000 (standard Alienware style) and I put my Cd-roms at the top because they hit the capactors if I put them any lower. Think I will have a problem? HDD is at the bottom so that isn't a problem.

Ok I'm thinking of upgrading from the K7S5A v1.0 to the WinFast K7NCR18D (nforce2) and buying the XP 2400. I've read reviews about it and it seems that it is a great board but the sites don't really elaborate on problems they may have had. And there really arn't that many posts on anandtech...

PII Fan on PIII... Good Idea???

These case fans are costing some major money. I have to get to the store and buy like 8 fans to replace my PowerSupply, and case fans in my other computer, and now 2 more for that 450/550 computer. This is going to cost like $50 or more for halfway decent fans that are quiet.

Right now in one of my several computers I have an old Slot Celeron 400 OC to 450. And just today my place of work gave me a new old Pentium 3 550 computer. The computer is crap so I wanted to just use the CPU on my Celeron box. My MB will support it but I think I may need a new CPU fan...

[QUICK!] Audigy I/II owners! Firewire out for a 2nd port (front of case)? [PIC!]

Yes, if you had the Platinum version, that is where the cable for the front IEEE1394 port would plug into. So I don't see why you woudn't be able to use that port for your needs.

Setup a Domain in Win2k Adv Server

Woo wooo wooo....Back the truck up. All I need is a Domain that the client workstations would log into on the inner network (intranet). I don't want to buy a domain name or anything I just want to have it so that people have to log into the network to use the computer.
