OEM yes, is it worth anything? does it need a Key? Are the licenses good if the package is unopened?

It does say on the hologram on the program CD "For distribution with a new server only", but there's nothing about not for resale. I guess you would consider this an OEM version, there's no box, it's just the above listed items in shrink wrap.

Is my monitor going bad? Samsung 955DF

Sorry for lack of info, as stated above it's a Samsung 955DF. It is a CRT. Would only let me take the res down to 800x600, but doing that and lowering the refresh rate to 60hz did make an improvement, unfortunately that's not a resolution I can live with. No holes for making adjustments, but...

Is my monitor going bad? Samsung 955DF

Recently the text on my monitor has begun getting fuzzier and fuzzier. But pictures, video, games etc are all normal. Res is 1152x864 Refresh at 70hz. I've tried changing and tweaking all kinds of setting with only mild improvement. Is there any kind of diagnostic I can run. Vid card is 9700 Pro.

Gigabyte RMA Sucks A$$..!!!

Hercules Fortissimo III causes PC Freeze on 1st sounds

I know that's what I was saying, nothing apparently related to the freeze. At any sound from any source the entire PC locks up and the only way to get it back up is to hit the reset button. Nothing showing in the event log related to this. thanks for any help you can give

*UPDATE* Gaming Freeze & When Running 3DMark03 Please HELP!

Just an update on my outcome, everything boiled down to the motherboard being defective. Swapped it out with a Mach Speed V600DAP and things are running normally again. Now facing the daunting Manufacturer RMA process :(. Thanks all for the help.

yah i still have my TI4200, i'll give that a shot again. I tried it several weeks ago with the same results, but not since I've done some signifcant tweaking and not with 3DM. The ATI has added heat sinks on all the RAM plus a slot cooler right next door so I don't think it's there either.
