    The vanity light doesn't appear to work at all (there's only a left light on the mirror). The reading lamps turn on when the doors open or dimmer switch is turned up, and they turn on and off when the lens is depressed. Must be the dead driver as you stated.

    Tried that. Only gives a disc read error. It appears there is a separate slot for the navigation DVD. But just hitting the load button while in the navigaion set-up doesn't work. PS: Having the Owner's Manual in .pdf is useful. Thanks.

    I'm considering doing the same thing with a Sony KT-57WP600. The alignment is WAY off and they said it would cost ~$250 to fix it. So, for $250 I'd have a decent 57" TV sitting in my living room. I think it's worth it.
