Windows Update problem - I can't accept the license

Get insurance. Even better: check to see if your parents' home insurance will cover your belongings at school (this is often the case). Take pictures of your rig, and save receipts. Make backups of your data. Insurance = peace of mind.

That is a sweet deal. From IBM.ca that model costs a thousand dollars more, tax included [CAN$5300]. Now I still have to decide if I want to spend $4300 on a laptop... :P

My computer is infected with Trojan BackDoor.Delf

Hi all, AVG Resident Shield has alerted me that I've picked up a trojan, BackDoor.Delf, in D:\System Volume Information\_restore{alphanumeric}\rp159\A0028949.exe However, running both AVG and The Cleaner has not fixed the problem. I'd really appreciate any advice.

Epox 8K7A+ and PSU

Hi all, What's a PSU that will keep my 8K7A+'s 5v line within acceptable variance? My Enermax EG365P-VE PSU is not doing the trick - without overclocking, I'm idling at 4.63v. Anyone out there still use the 8K7A+? Thanks in advance for any helpful reply.

I reinstalled 3dmark2k1, and it continues to crash in exactly the same spot, in the third test. It's actually a freeze: the computer locks and needs to be cold restarted. I also think that the monitor gives a low whine when it freezes. My computer will also intermitently freeze the same way...

Sooo is Dungon Siege worth getting?

I think Dungeon Siege is worse than Diablo 2. Gameplay's much more passive: you just seem to watch your party fight, or more often, watch the health bars so you know when to heal. The skill trees & modular weapons of Diablo at least make character progression a bit interactive: no such luck...
