When i try to install XP, my hp netraid card and drives show up in setup but they are non existant in windows, windows cant even find the card!
any one have any ideas here?
I need to boot many machine off a cd (live version of linux) but the problem is i dont have any cdroms but i have many 500mb-1gb hard drives. is there a way i can put an ISO on them and then boot off them like that?
what do i need to change to have it automatically load the index in subfolders? it loads the main index but when i go to a sub folder such as for my forums it shows the list of the contents.

I have a 2 drives on an hp netraid controller in raid0 for the os(fedora) and then i have 4 drives in raid 5 for data. (its a fileserver) the drives are formatted in ntfs. how do i go about mounting the raid 5 array and then sharing it? Fedora see the two logical drives as sda and sda, respectively.
hook it up to your computer and then share it over the network....
it can be hooked up to a router but its costly. i think linksys make something to do this.

cant get fedora to connect
I got fedora installed again but for some reason it wont connect to the internet. ive tried different nics and pci slots with no avail. it wont activate and get an ip from my router.
i was at computer rennasance looking for older scsi stuff ( they may be stupid but its a great place to find older parts) and was looking at the cdroms when i spied a scsi one (id terminals) i told a salesmoron could i plz have a look at the scsi cdrom, he looked at me funny and opened the case...

i have 1 becasue my dad thinks he is some kind of 1337 sysadmin(keep out hackers, lol) but he did say that i could set up IP Masq. using the one ip that i have so i can hook up more computers.
Need a good linux distro thats ready or windows program that does ip masquerading. i tried NAT on windows and it blows, i cant get anything more than trillian to work. I only have 2 ip adresses allotted to me by my wierd dad and obviously this isnt enough. so whats the easiest way to do this?
I have a little problem, the cdrom and hard drive died, so i put a ~300mb hard drive with win95 in there but of course it asks you for the cd, i got one of those adapters to hook the laptop hard drive up to IDE and was wonderigng if theres any way to copy the 95 cd to the hard drive then...
