Really strange things have been happening. On one of the computers that are located in the same room as the router. I uninstalled/reinstalled the drivers and software required to run the wireless nic on that comp... and configured the port settings for the printer from that Computer... and it...
It is a networked printer... with a nic of its own. Directly connected to the router... sorry i guess i didn't clarify on my first post. No firewalls what soever running that will interfere... because we were running everything EXACTLY the same at home...same computers...same setup. ONLY...
looks like? uhm... its pretty much default settings on the router. But doesn't the firewall only block from wan to lan? Does the fire wall have anything to do with network printing on LAN? I just thought it prevent from internet to lan accessiblility.
I have a Samsung 7300N laser printer with a nic on it, and i just got a new dlink di-514 wireless router... and a bunch of computers that need to print.

i'm trying a Xp1700 on my abit kt7 raid... and it runs fine. But i'm limited to 1.1ghz. It's a cooler chip than the higher clocked tbirds... and its not all that expensive... i just wish i can somehow hit the 1.46ghz mark.
I've just put a new 40 gig hard drive, and the computer recognizes all 40 gigs. SO its that freaking hard drive. I tried it on a new system, and they only see 2 gigs as well. Serious time to contact fujitsu. Dang... this program must be really rare!
Alright... its not the bios, or os, or anything else... because I used a 40 gig hard drive and its running fine. THe computer recognizes all 40 gigs. I guess this program is really rare. I'm gonna have to contact fujitsu. It's this hard drive... I tried it on another system and it also reads it...
I've been trying different settings in bios... but the hard drive is being recognized as 2 gigs no matter what program I use. Ontrack or bios, or partition magic. It's not just the bios that is seeing this limit. My brother installed win2k and freebsd right after the other ... that might have...

I currently Run a server with an ABIT kt7 Raid...It runs perfectly fine and has no problems what so ever. And the good thing about this board is you can have up to 8 hard drives.
For power, performance, and your best bang for the buck, I'd say the MSI K7T Pro2A is a good deal.

Doesn't it have a 266mhz bus...
and also does the processor have to specify that it handles 266mhz bus?
can't seem to find an answer anywhere...
tell me if you know.
Thanx
I feel stupid for asking but...Isn't the abit kt7a made for ddr ram?
I thought the new via kt133a chip set was made for the 266 mhz fsb.
And do the processors have to specify of their fsb too?
It's just a little question i can't seem to find the answer to...
Please tell me if you know. Thanx.
