OCZ falsely advertising 25nm Vertex 2 drives?

I agree with you. I wanted to buy a sandforce drive and at the same time avoid the OCZ ones. However, I found that other sandforce SSDs are somehow inferior despite having the same controller model. To say the least, I was disappointed.

Would my X3 435 be bottlenecking a 5850?

I just upgraded my PC with an HD5850. See my signature below. I also game at 1920*1080 with a 22 inch monitor. After overclocking my E8400 further to 3.85GHz, I dont think my 5850 is bottlenecked too much. However, this is my objective opinion. I haven't got the chance to compare benchmarks yet.

It's back...LCD not syncing with 4890 again.

I don't think Windows 7 is to be blamed. The cause of the problem is likely driver-related. Is the latest driver installed? And what model is your Samsung TV?

4gigs of DDR2 1066 or 8gigs of DDR2800 on AM2+ Board?

If I were you, I'd grab 2 2GB dimms of DDR2-1066. I love overclocking so much that I would literally cry if I find out that my newly purchased RAM is limiting my OC. But that is just me.

I am officially suicidal-- ep45 dq3 and 4870 x2 problem
