I dunno about that, last night the RU chopper seemed to be somewhat effective at dodging guided shells and javs when hitting the ECM after missiles were away. You might just need to do it at a certain time--not sure.

I can verify this, and another friend who got an SSD recently for this reason as well. Load times are down enough to get you into game with at least 25 seconds to go on my core i7.

The biggest effect was that they made smoke and dust reduce visibility and range when looking through the IRNV scope. That's why it's perceived to have a really short range. In my opinion, anyway.....as you said, it's still very usable and is appropriate for certain situations.

I find that if you swing your gun away quickly before firing, it seems to miss the target more. That said, CITV station plus guided shell from the hilltop point in Caspian is amazing. You can be anti-heli, and be hitting tanks from a high position. Good times to be had. Can't wait to unlock...

They really need to fix the SOFLAM + Javelin combination though. Javelin almost never hits a painted target on the top attack. Javelin's turning ability is terrible or something, because if the target is moving almost at all, the javelin can't hit it.

Oh are you serious? I guess you have to go the teamplay route to jihad jeep now...which i guess is not a bad thing. More teamplay is always good. (I assume that a teammate can put C4 on the jeep you're driving and blow it up)

I would agree, except that there's no indication that the player that just spawned is invulnerable. So, as an attacking flanker, I would empty an entire clip into the invuln player, THEN realize that he's invuln, and be reloading when he decides that oh, he should shoot now while I'm reloading...
