Great little camera for the money. ONe thing to know is that it needs a lot of light and won't do night shots or work well indoors. No ISO adjustments. I have a Fuji and that is the only drawback. For a little more, you can get a model that will do much better in dim settings. Minolta has...
If you like McChicken, you can make your own the way they do, just blend up some chicken feet, guts and heads. Then form in a patty, deep fry in racid oil and there you have it. Just don't use any real chicken meat! That's why they are only .99
Mine never sounded that great. It even had a screwed up sound port, I neede a 4 channel anyway SO I bout one of the c-media cards for dirt cheap and it sounds great.
I had a simular problem when I booted for the first time. I spent 2 days trying everything. When I finally booted it outside the case, it worked fine. I put it all back to gether the same way I had it the first time and it has worked fine every since. Go figure.
I did the $199.00 deal and am very happy. I was the only deal I have even seen at Fry's. They inked a deal with EPOX so there will be plenty of specials with that board. They have stacks of them in the stores by me.
After reading all the horror stories about 2002 ( I loved 2001 on my 98 system) I am only going to install the AV on my new XP. Go to CNET.COM and read the reviews. Scary
Well at least you got 4 channel some of the time. I just installed this card (AudioExcel brand) and loaded the drivers and audio rack from the C-Media site. THe mixer did not have the option to set up the speakers so I only got 2 channel. I ininstalled and installed the audio rack from the cd...
CAUTION!! before loading Norton system works 2002 on anything. Check out all the problems it is causing. I loved 2001 but I'm scared to load the copy of 2002 after reading this. link to CNET user reviews
I was turned on to this site by some friends that have been buying the walkie-talkies, and besides the pay-pal only deal, they had no problems and have bought more stuff. I think the deal with the site is that it is provided to them by pay-pal for free by using them exclusively. Low budget for...

I don't think the card on the EMJ site for $8 is the same card. look at the picture compared to the one on directron.com. something is a jack is missing
I might go that way. I'm also considering the Audio Excel CMI8738 people have been posting about. I got the speaker system free by the way but that is another story.
I am looking for cheap sound card to power my Klipch 4.1's. Any body know about this card? Or better card for a 4.1 system that is under $20.00? Running XP. Link
Yeah, there is a guy on the amdmb forum having the exact same problem. I sure am thankful for the help and encouragement. This has become quite an education and I've ended up with a kickass PC for a fraction of the retail price.
I pulled the board out of the case. installed just the video card and powered up. It went through the boot sequence. I put it all back together the way I had it the first time and now it works. GO figure?
I tried another video card. Still no signal. Jumpers are set correct. WHen I power up, FF lights up first and that's it. no beeps or signal. I fear it's the CPU or the board. will try out of case but I can't see anything that could cause a short.
When I start it. Blank screen, no post beeps, it just sits there with all the fans running. I checked all cables, removed video card and installed it in another system. It was OK.
I just tried to fire up my new system : Epox 8kha+ with 1800+, enlight case with rated PS. no PCI cards yet. and Video card tested on other system OK. Will not boot. All fans work and power to CD, HD and floppy OK. I doesn't even beep, just get FF on the motherboard LEDs. I wasa very careful...
I just put together my system tonight and am about ready to fire it up. I have the same questions about OS install with XP Pro. and drivers and such.
I would also like to know IF I need to change any bios settings so it will find the CD to boot it up. and Do I need to install the Disk that came...
I bought Muskin DDR and on their web site, they give recommended settings for the kind of memory you bought. You might look at the site for the brand you have.
Thanks, for the info, I am in the same boat, just started building mine from scratch. I assume I will use bank 1 for the 1 stick of 512DDR. Any advice on bios settings? I've got the 1800+ and downloaded recomendations on the RAM settings. From Muskins site.
I got in on this deal in Phoenix. They warranty the chip for a year. I bought the same cooler but will scrape off the wax and use Artic Silver III. There is a thread here to get it for 6.99 (free shipping)and it came in a couple days.
I heard that the HEPA filters were very expensive and hard to find. I ended up buying a Eureka Bagless HEPA from Ubid for $79.00. THe cheapest I have seen the model I bought was about $200.00. I love it.
Maybe I should have picked up the RAM as well. I thought I could do better on line but that is a good price. How is Nanya for quality? I did pick up the volcano 6 as well.
