Do I stick with dual 2005's or sell and up to one 2405?

eh, only if I were planning to buy two 7900's or crossfire, which i'm not. my one 7800 wouldnt be able to kick a game in native res. Eh, maybe I'll just keep em and buy a high def projector or LCD tv instead of upgrading.

unfortuinately I am dealing with numbers with 50+ digits for some of these Num1 & 2's. I need it to go from a string to a char array, not an integer.

Logitech G7

The 2.4gHz provides on par response. There hasn't been lag in wireless mice for some time now. And the G7 has 2 rechargable/hot swappable batteries so you dont run out of batteries and it doesnt go dead on you during a game and you having to put it on its cradel.

Getting new graphics card need advice

you thinking about the 7800GTX or the 7800GT? I would say go for the 7800 reguardless of which one you meant. I'm a convert, used to be an ATI posterboy, but then I grew a pair and went for the beast. Heh, I'm pretty partisan, but if money isnt an issue, go for the 7800GTX imo.

FYI 2405FPW ghosts while fps gaming

just got my two new Dells and I havent had any ghosting problems on either yet. Have yet to fully test each of them beyond an hour or two of BF2 though. No dead pixels though

With the implementation of Revision A02, they supposidly fixxed the backlight bleeding in most of the monitors, but i still have a sneaking suspicion that it still exists in some of the newly revised monitors, just maybe not as many

I sent off my 7800gtx yesterday to upgrade to the KO, and although the FAQ on their site says it should only take 1-3 days of processing, I am hearing mixxed reports of other people stepping up to this card having to wait up to 2 or 3 weeks after evga recieves it before they even ship them...

is it possible to fry JUST a hard drive?

hmm interesting, 2 days ago I had a power blip and my external drive will no longer be recognized by my computers. I'm out of town now but when I get back I have to open it up and try putting it straight into the IDE rather than having the enclosure with USB/firewire. The drive still turns on...

Recovering a key from the registry after a quick reformat

I could use that if the previous registry hadnot been formatted. The thing is I must first recover the old registry entries, and how to do that I am not sure. I have been trying to use undelete programs but so far no luck.

Better framerates with DVI?

DVI is simply the video signal in a digital format for LCD monitors that up until now had to convert the analog signal into digital in order to display. The conversion decreases the quality of the picture(may not be really that noticable, but it still does). So now video cards offer the signal...
