    I run GTX 580s for my 2560x1600 monitor and I often run out of VRAM (1.5GB) when pushing settings up on modern games....I'd suggest getting 2GB+ cards ;) For instance in BF3...my cards have plenty of power to run Ultra settings at 2560x1600, but I must lower MSAA to x2 or else I run out of VRAM...

    In the 1st version, I was using air cooling and had an optical drive included ;) Placing it at the bottom wouldn't work due to the length of the optical drive obstructing the motherboard mount :(

    Thanks :) but you're the first :sneaky: They both reach around the same temps, but they do not maintain the same temp all the time. Make sure you check out the OP of my build log for ideas on your SG05 build. This is the 3rd SG05/06 I've built, part one or two might be helpful to you.

    It's been in the works for a few months, HW list ins in the build log linked in the OP :thumbsup: You are correct, it says "water" on the top, and "wood" or "tree" on the bottom. Nice idea, but not asthetically pleasing. Plus, the current filters being exposed means their easy to clean...

    Yes, it was a PITA...but doable. There are some 5850 (non reference) cards with the power connectors on top....if I had to do it again, I'd get one of those.
