overclocking. my thoughts is ...if you are going from celeron 300a to 450, its good...or pinmod the k7 to 2.2 ghz is also stable...pushing the opteron to 2.5 is also stable..to me if i overcock my fsb and memory to the next level or spec if you will ...then its stable..anything in between or...
i say 8800gt or gts is not good enough to play crysis at high setting..i dont care what anybody say..30 to 40 fps at high is not good enough in my view. so...if it gets to the 70 and 80 fps then its playable..and that might have to be the next generation..hopefully...these 8800gt/gts refresh...
i would say better to ditch the mobo and cpu and go am2. keep the video card for now and wait for nvidia's new generation video card. thats what i would do if i am you.

Just got my asrock k7s8xe from newegg and got revision 3. booted up the kyro2 and so far its been rock solid and the sound is excellent. have not overclocking it yet but will.

i can't do that, since the only other option would be a radeon 9600 pro or higher and those are overprice still i think..and no to geforce ..i wasn't impressd with their 2d quality...i'm getting the asrock..hopefully it will work.
this is ridiculous. my aopen kt600 refused to boot with the kyro2 in the agp but if i take it out, it would boot. anyone have any other idea..otherwise this board will be shipped back:o)

it will post but won't work right or install. as far as i know, no one has got it to work right on the nforce with the mod.
