    I believe I had that problem before, and I have a VIA chipset mobo. I believe I turned off error reporting or something like that. Also, my videocard fan died not long after that, so I bought a new one, and havn't had a problem since then of any kind.. So that could also be the reason, overheating.

    Thanks guys. Yeah I plan on upgrading my videocard as well. It seems to me that the PCI-Express cards are a little cheaper.. eitherway, 9700 Pro is just outdated. My processor is decent, but definately not great by any means. I will be upgrading soon enough.

    9700 Pro. BTW.. The computer shut down on me again, but now I put a good fan (floor fan) and aimed it right at the videocard and I played flawless! =D No artifacts either. So that should eliminate most other possibilities as to why its shutting down on me.
