Everyone try it and post their results! Its really neat!
Its really simple. All you need to do is the following:
For the droid serial number:
Take the number of your current address and add a colon
Then add on your social security number backwards (remember those dashes) and a space...
Sweet!
Lots of old school people.
Cousin is good. She's still up in Toronto. Visited her last March in the new car.
No more Jello for me after that challenge at work. Still ticked off that the Data Warehouse guy squandered the lead I gave the team because he can't kayak!
Other...
Jeez, leave for a few months and the scenery changes. Lots of new names and few few old ones. Figure I'd drop in just to say, "Hi" to everyone. This is my nef (do people still use that term here?) post for the year.
Windogg
My boss does nothing but fly a desk but he still wears his flightsuit. A long time ago he "flew" satellites so he is permitted to "bag it." Hell he even has a set of wings.
Hey AndrewR, I see you are in Ohio. WPAFB I assume? I'm now at a little AFMC base on the east coast.
Does he have a security clearance? If he goes to Iraq for two years, he can come back to the states and work either as a government civilian or contractor. DoD is looks for lots of contracting and finance people with experience in acquisition.
I'd have to agree. These vehicles usually get heavily thrashed by their owners. Ask Tuffgirl about her near miss and what she did to avoid a collision. :)
Yes, long time no see. Been busy at work and starting up a side business with some friends.
I'm very sure the dealer makes out like a bandit. They also tell me BMW is interested on how the part failed so they can beef things up in the next generation. I did a quick check with a mechanic...
I was told when I bought it that I might wreck one or two transmissions during my time with the vehicle depending on how hard I pushed it. Well, I did push it hard and burnt one up. At the time, my commute was 35 miles each way and most of it was on open highway. Lots of time was spent doing...
Yea, its heavier but there is a little more power and a better transmission compared to the one I'm trading in. I recall the curb weight on a 4.6is is more than a 4.4i so it's not a huge gain. Plus the new vehicle is larger overall and there are more bells and whistles to keep a geek happy.
I'm getting the new 07.
I did consider the 550i but the crappy Massachusetts roads, especially in metro Boston, would shred the underside within a couple of years. Quite a few people have damaged their cars getting over the raised tracks along Comm. Ave.
I was told the transmission in...
Realized the trusty ole E53 X5 4.6is is getting a little long in the tooth. Over the last 4+ years it has been rock solid and reliable. The only problem, pretty much expeceted, has been a transmission replacemement under warranty at around 40k miles. Heck, even drove with the toasted torque...
When you get a policy, make sure it is for the full replacement value. Some policies base their coverage on cash value which means coverage is paid out on the depreciated value. In the event of a disaster, you don't want to find out that the $7K you spent on your gear is now only worth $3K in...
Accipiter22 could try the insurance appeals process but the Commonwealth makes the process about fun as getting your nutsack caught in a zipper. Tons of forms and red tape can make this process drag on for years.
Back in 2003, my brother was driving through a construction zone at night. As...
As a primer to those that live outside of the People's Republic of Taxachusetts.
Insurance companies such as Geico, Allstate, State Farm, Progressive and other national carrier do not do business here. All rates are set by the state... errr.. I meant Commonwealth based on a strange formula...
I saw the title and instantly knew it was written by a fellow Masshole. Yea, Commerce sucks. They are the ones fighting hardest against insurance reform so they can keep their grip on the profits for the socialist system they helped create. I recently dropped them for Amica after too many...
For all intents and purposes, the Latitude is basically just a sturdier Inspiron. The other real difference the Latitude has over the Inspiron is the inclusion of a smartcard reader under the PC card slot. I believe the new Inspiron as include TPM so that is one other difference out the door...
3000 miles oil changes are a way for dealers to fatten up their profit margins. Kinda like the schmucks at WorstBuy, CircuitSh!tty, and CrapUSSR that push the extended warranties because "50% of these things come dead out of the box" or "These things are designed to break after the factory...
IIRC, each "x" in speed is supposed to represent 150KB/sec of write performance. So a 4x card is supposed to be able to write at 600KB/sec and a 80x card is supposed to write at 12MB/sec. I believe Lexar came up with this method a determining the performance of compact flash cards and this has...
Oh darn, I'm getting old. Forgot the 5500 made it to market. I do remember a 5000 which along with th 6000, never saw commerical distribution.
Might not post much but I do lurk around.
No matter what this could put a crimp on your navy career, especially if the field you plan on entering requires a security clearance. I have a squaky clean record and the DISA people went back 15 years. Heck they tracked down people I forgot I knew. They do take into the account the type of...
HEY!!! I know how to get it out. In fact, the people at work have been giving me crap about it all day. Oh well, at least the Lieutenents around my age were saluting me today. I can probably expect my office to be vandalized by pranksters tomorrow.
A friend recently dropped her iPod Nano and cracked the LCD. I've repaired plenty of damaged iPods of other types with parts from EBay for about $30. Unfortunately, guess the reason why every broken Nano is up for sale? I did a quick search and realized the cheapest replacement LCD screen...
