I was reading the same forum and it looks like the 0426 is the latest and the 5426 variation is the same with the exception of MCE being enabled by default.
I was about to start putting my 8700k system together and have a quick question for anyone familiar with ASUS MBs. I have the Asus Z370 Strix-I board and I noticed they just released 3 new bios yesterday but I'm not sure which one to pick. They are 0411, 5426, and 0426. Anyone have a clue what's...
That's just wrong. I don't like how Newegg is handling this launch. They should offer all backorders combos first.
Actually they should fill all backorders before they sell new combos!!! Might just move most of my purchases somewhere else.
Not a real experienced OCer..... what should I set, like voltage to put my 8700k (when I get it) at 4.9 and forget it. I just want to leave it there and then never mess with it again. Anything else I should do?
Ok so when should we expect to get those early Newegg backorders filled? I backordered around 1am PST (4am est). Pretty early on. I would think they do them in order right??!? I should be on the first reshipment I hope!
.... plus you get more women!
Gamer Nerd - "Hey babe, check out my new rig!"
Gamer Babe - "Is that a 8700k chip you got in there?!?"
Gamer Nerd - "Ahhhh..... no, it's just an 8700, but I did save $50."
Gamer Babe - "Later loser!!"
Just read the Anand review...... something is wrong with some of those gaming 8700k results.
Even though a few 8700ks and 8600ks got out I would call this a paper launch for those processors.
