I use 8 O'clock coffee in the french press. It seems like the easiest way to do it, and it's even easier since I got an electric kettle. Plus it tastes better than a regular coffee maker.
You tried both vga and dvi cord?
Your PC beeps when it posts? Do you hear the beep? Windows startup sound?
When you say you cleaned the CPU, you mean you did open the case?
If not, I tend to agree with your friend. It seems like the motherboard is not working.
There might also be some dust or...
No, I just felt this needed addressed because it's been eating me up inside and I haven't had any sleep for the last four years for lack of retort. I chose to reply now because I'm awesome like that.
No one is forcing him to live in a gated complex. He consciously chose to live there in full knowledge that there would be restrictions to entry. Then to turn around and complain that those restrictions are enforced to his detriment is asinine. If you think placing restrictions on travel is fun...
My favorite upgrade was when I went from a K6-2 400mhz with 128mb ram and s3 virge video to an Athlon 1.2ghz with 512mb ram and voodoo3.
Second place would be when I went from having no hard drive to having a 40mb one.
Third place was going from a p4 to a core2duo.
It's usually not a good idea to skimp on a power supply. I would recommend this one

RHT interviewed me for a couple jobs I wasn't qualified for. It was a waste of time mostly. The recruiter I talked to seemed professional enough, so if they have a position that fits you well it shouldn't be a negative experience.
You need to provide the service rep with all they information they need from you in order to facilitate an expedient resolution to the issue. The chances of anything bad happening to your credit card by you telling it to him are very slim.
Only convert your file/webserver to linux when you are sure your lan is ready for a 1-2 week downtime because that is how long it will take you to get it all set up if you start out knowing nothing about linux. Be prepared to do a LOT of reading.
OTOH, it's insanely easy to get desktop linux...
I personally don't like Ubuntu because I think Gnome sux. I would recommend Knoppix or Kanotix because they use KDE and they don't rely on special repositories.
Openoffice tries to be too much like MS office in that it's slow and bloated. Try Koffice instead. Also, you can download the...
