heh, i just told my immediate boss and fired an quick email to HR. they just used that for the 'letter'. i actually can't wait to get out of here though, i'm becoming a slacker at work with the thought of leaving so soon, I hope i don't piss anyone off .... :)

fair argument, but it assumes that the ONLY way to counter is by legalization. that's not enough proof, there's not enough data to correlate it--there's got to be more for a supportive argument...you think congress would accept that argument?

well, i don't think we'll need phone, i'm going to argue vociferously against it anyway. All of us have cell phones, we won't need any land lines. therefore, I won't have to run any phone lines, but if I did, I'd probably run a separate cat5 (not e) line for that alone - and hell, probably...

ATOT - the "holier than thou" attitude about speeding.

hrm...i got a huge speeding ticket when 17, so I try my best not to speed, and haven't gotten anything since then (7 years). i don't mind people that speed at all, i'll keep up with traffic if it seems that it's the 'safe' thing to do (like w/ interstate through cities and such), but normally...

we use Intuit (the bought out Blue Ocean) Track-It! I like the options and such, but consider we don't have it running completely yet (off of our SQL server, the TrackIt v6.0 is all web-based, also), I just entered in our 'spare' 80 workstations yesterday. It has the option to perform audits...

What's a good GMAT score?

I was originally planning Carlson School of Management (for MIS in Minneapolis), but that's too expensive for me, but I think their average is about 610 or so and they are(/were?) rated 5th for MIS grad school. I assume the 700+ is for MIT, Urbana/Champaign and the like?

Well, I took the test a couple months ago, and I am starting grad school in late august. I got a 680. EDIT: and a 5.0 on the essays. Is this high enough if you're thinking about a Ph.D.? Anyone know?

Starting the Atkins program tommorow and I have a few questions

YACT: Motor oil? We dont need to stinkin' motor oil.

man, i know newer engines are supposed to be able to go longer w/o an oil change, but seriously, I wouldn't be able to force myself past 5k miles even if the techs say 10 is fine. no way. i change my 95 LeSabre's oil and filter every 3k in summer and closer to 2k in winter. cheap if you do it...

still, that price seems too high for you, you should be able to get a cheaper price than through your father--in my opinion. of course, i only pay 350 per 6 months for full coverage (woooo, 95 LeSabre)...and even I think that's high for me (no speeding tickets since I was 17, and I'm 24...

hartington (small, 1600ppl), moving to omaha beginning of august (grad school). you know, speaking of acres, i once disked 140 in one day. that was a long day. (about 14 hours straight in a tractor)... heh, tractors are cool.

another easy way to remember is that there are 640 acres in one square mile....(probably where you got the number 640 from) 160 every square quarter mile....etc. the 'back 40 acres' came from 1/4 of a 160 acre plot. hey, i'm from nebraska, and grew up a farmer, what more do you want?
