Finally got my Vista & Office today. Now what to do with it? I had installed a beta last year and removed it after a few days because of all the incompatibilities with my stuff...
I hope to use my xmas gift cards there this weekend.
fbrdphreak - why don't YOU let it die. And if you were working at Best Buy up until a few weeks ago, why didn't you buy that $20 phone at the time, so you could use your employee discount?
Same here in Florida, but supposedly the LCD version only allows you to see the last picture you took, so it's not a big deal. Unless of course, it is hacked so you can use it to display all the pictures in memory!
Well here is what I am going to do at Best Buy. My attorney and I, are going in there Thursday just before closing. I'm going to find their largest refrigerators and we are going to step into them just before they close, so they don't see us. When they close, I'm going to grab all the good...
The CSR I spoke to said it was a mistake they would not honor (I figured that but gave it a try anyway), and he said they were trying to 'rectify the problem'. I asked him what that meant, and he said he would give me 10% off and free shipping, I told him the catalog already has a 10% off...
I'm surprised you guys didn't see the little Buslink mp3 player at CompUSSR during the weekend. $99 after rebate, 256 megs, voice recorder, thumb drive, functions as a hard drive, no drivers necessary.
Nice, now my whole family can play for an hour for free! I wonder if you have to use the time right away? Now I have something to do with that domain I signed up for at e-rice.net!
Good price, but shipping is $20 that just about kills it IMHO. I would have bought it with free shipping, been looking for one, a 2 port would have been good also.
I have the 300 mhz Axim and I love it. I use it to play mp3s and (yes I am a geek) I watch The Screensavers on it on the train on the way home. I record the show on my Dishnetwork PVR, then transfer it to my desktop and finally encode it with Windows Media encoder. I use low resolution, since...
I got an OOS on their web page when I selected local pickup. My closest store is OOS. No matter what I did I was not able to figure out how to de-select local pickup, so I had to use another computer to order it.
Don't waste your money on this, read on from your Compu$a link:
Please Note: This is a clearance item. This product is sold as is and cannot be returned.
NOTE: DVD+R media is not compatible and will not be recognized by the HP DVD100i DVD+RW drive.
I agree, those Lexmarks (Z32 or 23) are disposable printers. When the cartridges empty, it's time to throw them away, because of the high cost of replacing them. No one seems to have them cheap.
Scored this one too. Also found a PS/2 network adaptor, lots in stock now in Miami. Had a couple of gift cards for my b-day, so cost me $10, with $15 rebate, I'm still $5 ahead.
I ordered the combo smartmedia/compact flash usb reader for $5 using the coupon code on their site, but the total didn't reflect the 50% discount. I received an email confirmation still showing the full amount. So I just emailed them to cancel the order. Anyone get this working?
