Looking for a new CD wallet seems easy enough - there are a lot of different ones out there. The problem is that I want one which will hold my Palm (TX), as well as other small items (USB drives, pens, business cards, etc..). I do not want just a single inside pocket like most have - things...

I eventually will add more RAM. Probably after a new board though. The main reason I had not upgraded it yet was because I (having only 2 slots in that A-Bit) would have to buy 2 new 1 gig sticks to keep it dual channel. But I can always worry about that after the new board. I do have a SATA...

What happens if I stick PC133 memory into a PC100 slot?

Many times PC133 will work fine at the lower speed. It will not hurt to at least try anyway.

Server 2003 Terminal Server

Well I allready have the copy of Server 2003 Standard :) The built-in mail server should work nicely for my needs. The only other 'feature' I need to figure out is the best way for people to access files on a share from anywhere on the internet.

it might also work if you simply create a link to the file on their machine.. giving it the network path to the file.. like : \\servername\sharename\file.mdb (its worth a shot if you dont want to have to map a drive.. might not work though for several reasons)

it is perfectly safe to disable your devices. but (unless it's a weird situation and i dont know about it), there is no reason to.. your computer should use whatever connection is available.

there will never be a 'true' way to mask your ip. theres a very simple reason. all communication (http, ftp, etc..) on the internet is 2-way. if your ip was truely hidden, how could the other side talk back? like to show you a web page, or answer an ftp request etc... there are some sites...

DMZ means that one particular computer is completely exposed to the outside internet. The method I mentioned only opens 1 particular port, to 1 particular machine. I don't think either way is hard. You simply have to enter the ip, and click a few things and enter in the port number.

Can you turn a new laptop into a dual boot system?

Heres an article on dual booting 98 and XP http://www.bootstrike.com/WinXP/dualboot.html As far as ghosting the data, I would create the dual boot system with a clean 98 install, and once everythings up, then ghost the 98 data to the 98 partition on the laptop.

Geforce 4 4200 fan doesn't work

One more thing, if you have a voltmeter, you can test that power is actually going to the fan. That might be a better method, but you would have to be careful not to short the contacts :)

Help! Win XP Pro reboots instantly!

It sounds like a hardware problem.. I would run a memory testing program (like DocMEM) first, and see if it is failing. then maybe taking out any extra cards you dont need. And then CPU or PS etc.. Since it's doing it while your trying to do a clean install, I doubt it is truely a driver...

Mouse issues

From my experience with wireless keyboards and mice, they will often have problems like that if the receiver is too close to your case, or other electronic devices. I would try moving it as far away as you can from anything and see if that helps.
