What will nVidia's Stock do?

I think nVidia went up too fast too soon....if you buy it, you have to watch it very closely, dump it as soon as you see things starting to look bad. Have to agree at this point, AMD is a better value at current price....why the heck is it down almost 2 bucks today...damn!!!

Who uses Dual monitors here?

Two 19" on Geforce2 Pro and voodoo3 3k on win2k server here. I heard that running dual monitors with different resolution will cause interferance, better watch out for that if you are planning to run dual with different resolutions.

Dual P3 Motherboard

No, Tiger 100 Rev. F DOES NOT have 1/4 PCI divider. This has been a hotly debated topic over at www.2cpu.com forum a while back, anyone interested can go over and take a look. That being said, you can still get lucky and get your PCI devices running out of spec.

As an AMD investor, I am happy with its progress in CPU market. Actually I am more worried about their flash memory business as flash memory price is getting hammered. AMD do not release faster CPU because of business reasons, actually the 1.3/1.333 cpu was available to many people months ago...

2 P3 at 840-952 vs 1 Athlon at ~1.3-1.5Ghz

I think dual at ~850 will probably give you better performance. There are not many application that can take advantage of 850+ cpu power, but if you use lots applications at once, the dual cpu setup can speed things up given you use SMP capable OS. So basically if you run single application...

for video card compatibility check out this site multi-monitor I am using a Geforce 2 Pro 64MB (AGP) and Voodoo3 3k (PCI), you don't need same performance cards, actually since most games won't run on second monitor, you can save your money with a cheap card, just make sure the card supports...

Yeah, for consumer use, nothing beats good old DSL or Cable. But for someone like me who doesn't have lots of options, gota look at everything out there. For mission critical business applications, T1 is still better than DSL or Cable. And don't forget the upload speed, unless you get SDSL...
