I took the Blue pill. Sorry for the typo. I was thinking about my X800XT AIW that ATI replaced with a brand new one. I had sent in for repair and they sent me a refurbished one with the fan covered in lint and dust. I complained and received a new one.
I received my two 9600 Pro AIW video cards from Geeks.com today. They were both made by Gigabyte with no accessories. Didn't get a chance to check them yet.
I just checked the status of my order and I actually see that my drive has shipped and should arrive via FEDEX on 11 Oct. I guess I might have to give them a boost in their rating. But only after I've received my WD 320 GB/SATA.
I gave them a shot for a total of $19.98 for the case, shipping and Nero 6.6 OEM (Free today). I'll have to see if they have improved on their service.
I called PC Universe to check on my order status and they stated that WD had a pricing problem with this drive. They said they would ship all the orders they could for $111.70. The drive now cost $192.77
I got my LCD today! It has a great picture and no ghosting playing FPS's, like Call of Duty, Far Cry, .... The picture is crystal clear compared to my analog LCD (Microtek 18 in). I plan on buying another one.
THANK YOU ANANDTECH!! Picked up 2 from Va Beach, VA for $62 and change. The employees didn't even know about it. But they said they were going to get one to.
