Not sure whats wrong... BSOD...

Hi... Just been setting up a second machine... Its an Athlon 2500+, 256mb DDR 400, 40 gb, Gigabyte nForce 2 board... Now the installation of Win XP Pro went fine, but after ive updated the drivers etc, installed some software, the pc wont boot past the windows loading screen, after that...

Pentium 5?

The language I was speaking was the dying south-african language of Afrikaans. Its a derivitive of german and dutch. It's a fairly useless language. WHAT IT MENT WAS.... ............................................ Im wondering when the new intel pentium 5 chip will be released to the shops...

The Pencil trick

I've got a T/bird 1.4 Ghz. Wanted to clock it. I tried he pencil trick on the L1 bridges to try and unlock the clock multiplier. I set it to 11x to check. It looked as though it worked as the bios said the cpu was running at 1466 mhz when I powered up. But when I got to the point where windows...

Memory Question

I think that it also has something to do with the amount of Mbits of RAM per bank. eg... 512 Mbit(8Mx16x4) banks 1 DIMMx64/x72= 512 Mbytes Dunno, thats what it says in my GA-7vax Manual...

Computer shuts down whenever it feels like it...

Same thing happened to me with my old kakky case. Both my reset and power buttons failed. Had to steal micro-switches from an old radio. CooL:)
